AbstractThis paper reports the findings of an on-going study of the composing strategies used by advanced writers when they composed academic texts. It will start off by delineating the purposes for conducting the study and the methodological design ad opted. It will then move on to summarise the major findings before attempting to present tentative conclusions in light of the findings that have emerged in the study so far.
