AbstractCloud storage, also known as “one-click file hosting,” is the easiest method to share files. It enables users to upload any files without providing any information or installing any software. This chapter discusses the development of the cloud storage ecosystem before and after the Megaupload case of 2012. The roles and relationships of the key contributors in the cloud storage ecosystem are highlighted. Also, the manner in which the key contributors generate revenue is discussed and revenue estimates are provided based on Internet traffic data and domain information.
