| Abstract | Spring water is an important component of hydrological system on this planet. There are three main values of spring water, ecological, historical and economic. Spring water and spring fed rivers or ponds and their related basins are habitats of many species, especially for those spring dependent ones. Besides, spring generated culture is created by human based on unique spring water hydrological characters. And spring water also brought vast income to local people for spring associated industries. However, to now not too much studies focus on this topic. We are losing or already totally lost some springs and their values.
