Conference Paper: Targeted Drug Delivery Controlled by Light

TitleTargeted Drug Delivery Controlled by Light
Authors
Issue Date2017
Citation
International Conference of Vision & Eye Research 2017, Hong Kong, 26-27 May 2017 How to Cite?
AbstractPhotoresponsive drug delivery systems provide a strategy for the delivery of therapeutic agents preferentially to a target site, presenting the ability to enhance therapeutic efficacy while reducing side effects. Here I will show the design of photoresponsive nanoparticles in which light induces nanoparticle binding to tumor tissues (phototargeting). The phototargeting strategy for ocular drug delivery is discussed as well in the talk.
