Abstract | The internal friction Q -1 in BiSrCaCuO (2223) in the kHz range varies as T β (β=3.2-3.4) at low temperature. There is a λ-shape peak of Q -1 at ∼ 0.9T c and its peak position T p and height are independent on frequencies. It is concluded that this effect is the reflection of the coupling between s-and d-waves and a weak phase transition at T p from one kind of relative phase domain walls to another. |
