Abstract | The purpose of the conference is to identify and assess solutions to the obstacles facing political party development in Hong Kong, as the maturity and strength of political parties is a vital factor in Hong Kong's constitutional reform. Local and international speakers will provide a comparative view of the law of political parties in Hong Kong and elsewhere, along with an examination of how other jurisdictions have responded to the issues that Hong Kong political parties contend with. Representatives of most of the major political parties and groups in Hong Kong will comment on the presentations in light of their own experience."--Faculty of Social Science webpage" |
