AbstractIntegrative learning represents students’ abilities to transfer their knowledge or skills to different real-life situations. Based on our experience, the impact of informal learning setting on enhancing student integrative learning is underestimated in higher education. Due to overemphasis on students’ academic performance, integrative learning is not systematically developed and assessed in curriculum. To address this situation, this project was designed to provide an alternative informal learning platform for students to apply what they have learned in the classrooms to real-life situations. This project also aimed to promote and develop students’ integrative learning by using e-portfolio in Gansu Sustainable Service programme.
