Abstract | Medical resources of today's human society have been insufficient due to the demand of increasing large population; in particular, patients in large-scale hospitals usually spend long waiting time. Therefore, it is important to measure and improve the performance of such complicated systems. However, there is no effective method to model such multi-departmental systems in the literature. In this research, a novel method is proposed to model and measure the efficiency of large-scale hospitals. The effectiveness of the method is validated by experiments. |
