AbstractScholars of Korean Christianity have conventionally emphasized the agency of South Korean actors in advocating for the peaceful reunification of Korea during the 1980s. This presentation, in contrast, will argue that attention must be also given to the assistance of the international community. South Korean Christian dissidents worked in partnership with with international community to create a space to discuss peaceful reunification on the peninsula.
