Abstract© 2019 The Author(s). We propose and demonstrate an efficient protocol that enables a scalable high-rate measurement-device-independent (MDI) QKD over asymmetric channels. The theoretical and experimental results unleash the full potential of MDI-QKD in practical network settings.
