Transition Metal Complexes as Photofunctional Materials-From Photosensitization and Photochromism to Artificial Photosynthesis and Energy Applications. In Reedijk, J; (Ed.), Reference Module in Chemistry, Molecular Sciences and Chemical Engineering. Amsterdam, The Netherlands: Elsevier, 2021, p. 2-37 How to Cite?
AbstractThis article provides an overview of the recent developments of photofunctional materials based on transition metal complexes since 2003. The use of transition metal complexes in applications ranging from photochromism, photosensitization to photocatalysis will be discussed. In addition, the use of transition metal complexes as triplet emitters in organic light-emitting diodes will be introduced.
