AbstractIn this chapter, approaches of load modeling based on synchrophasor measurement in distributed network are discussed. The approaches of building load models and load model structures are introduced first. Then, the method to identify load model parameters from ambient signals is proposed. In addition, the approach to identify the composite demand side model with renewables is discussed, in which PV and ES are included. Finally, the method to pick up representative load models from ambient signal -based load model identification results is proposed.
