AbstractDriven by globalization, the express delivery industry has developed actively in China in recent years. As early as 2014, express delivery business volume of China becoming the first in the world. As many Chinese companies develop overseas strategies and start international business, local logistics and express companies in China have gradually begun their internationalization. The rapid development of cross-border e-commerce has promoted Chinese express logistics companies to carry out overseas business and implement internationalization strategies. In addition, encouraged by the "Belt and Road" policy, Chinese logistics companies tend to expand their global business and enter overseas markets. This study first describes the current state of Chinese express delivery. Then analyzes the characteristics of the express delivery industry. It is found that the operational scale, service level, information technology innovation capabilities and the level of internationalization determine the competitiveness of Chinese express companies. The relevant data of listed Chinese A-share logistics companies are collected and the overall internationalization strategies construction of these companies are studied. The analysis shows that China's logistics industry has a relatively low level of internationalization. The implementation of appropriate overseas strategies can effectively improve corporate performance. R&D and infrastructure investment are necessary to lay the foundation of overseas business. Based on the research on the internationalization status of Chinese express logistics companies and the collection of expert opinions, a competitive advantage evaluation system for Chinese express companies' overseas strategies has been established. Taking SF Express, the largest private express company in China, as an example, and comparing with competitors in the global industry, the results show that there is still a big gap between Chinese express logistics companies and international logistics giants. The recommendations for the industry are strengthen resource integration and implement strategic alliances, improve service quality and ensure customer satisfaction, improve the information and intelligent management level, and actively develop the international express delivery market. The recommendations for SF Express are: improve service levels, integrate the Internet and express delivery, enter the e-commerce industry with express service, and recruit high-quality talents.
