AbstractOne of the global impacts arising from the Covid-19 pandemic was massive job losses. In Singapore, retrenchment rose from 5.1 per 1,000 employees in 2019 to 12.8 per 1,000 employees in 2020. The unemployment rate also increased from 2.3% in 2019 to 3% in 2020. A career intervention was conducted with a group of unemployed adults in Singapore over a period of five weeks. Using a mixed-method approach. The aim of the study was to study the efficacy of the career intervention program.
