Abstract | We theoretically predict optically thin metallic substrates facilitates high-Purcell (> 104), high-efficiency (>50%) gap-plasmon spontaneous emission with vanishing gap size. The enhancement is almost spatially uniform and does not suffer from quenching that commonly exist in previous structures. |
