Abstract | We propose a scheme for defect tolerant broadband waveguide isolator in microwave and optical frequencies. By restricting bulk modes in our system, we demonstrate high values of isolation ratio, verified by simulations using finite element method in microwave regimes. © 2011 OSA. |
