AbstractThe authors regret that the printed version of the above article contained a number of errors. The correct and final version follows. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. There was an error in Fig. 3a due to a misprint in drawing process. Thus, Fig. 3a should be corrected as following: [Figure presented] The trend of impervious surface area (ISA) in Beijing also needs to be corrected accordingly. Specifically, on page 6, “with an increasing linear trend of approximately 48.11 km2/year.” should be corrected as “with an increasing linear trend of approximately 61.02 km2/year”.
