Abstract | Paraquat dications enclosed sandwichlike within and between dodecaoxa[16.16]naphthalenophane macrocycles characterize the solid‐state 1:2 complex 1, which forms continuous donor–acceptor stacks. The distances between the ring planes of the naphthalene and paraquat units are uniformly short. The novel complex 1 is of particular interest as a potential organic conductor. (Figure Presented.)
