AbstractThe interfacial characteristics of δ′ phase in 1420(Al-Mg-Li) alloy was determined by small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). The samples were solutionized in a salt bath and quenched into ice water after cold rolling to a specific thickness. SAXS experiments were performed on a D/max-ra diffractometer with a four-slit collimation system. The asymptotic behavior of two-phase structure was determined by plotting an intensity curve.
