AbstractAccording to statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics, the average number of direct deaths caused by traffic accidents in China during the period 2016-2020 amounted to 60,000; the economic losses caused also exceeded 1.3 billion yuan for three consecutive years. Among the many causes of traffic accidents, the proportion caused by dangerous driving is more than 60%, such as: fatigue driving, speeding driving, changing lanes at will and so on. The use of Telematics significantly reduces the rate of vehicle accidents and insurance claims. Telematics is an information network platform that provides different functional services in vehicle operation by effectively utilizing all the vehicle dynamic information in the information network platform through the on-board devices on the vehicles. However, the prediction accuracy of the existing model is around 20%, how to further improve the prediction accuracy of drivers' dangerous driving behavior is a realistic problem that this paper focuses on. Based on the research of platform governance and Telematics, this paper explores how the use of Telematics affects drivers' deviant behavior. In addition, this paper explores the role that manual management measures play in this process. Specifically, this paper finds that the use of Telematics can bring information and assistance to drivers, and in particular, alerts on risky driving behaviors can significantly reduce drivers' risky driving behaviors. I also find that the management of manual labor has a significant impact on reducing drivers' risky driving behavior. Finally, I also found that the use of the platform and manual intervention can promote each other to further reduce drivers' risky driving behaviors. This study consists of seven chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the research background and problem of this paper and gives the roadmap of this research. The second chapter is a literature review, including relevant studies on platform governance, connected vehicle and artificial intelligence. Chapter 3 is the research model and hypothesis, which discusses the research model and theoretical reasoning of this paper in detail. Chapter 4 is the research scenario, which introduces the research scenario of this paper. Chapter 5 is the research methodology, including research design, variable measurement and estimation methods. Chapter six presents the research results. Chapter 7 is the discussion of this paper. I summarize the findings, theoretical contributions, and practical implications of this paper and conclude with a detailed discussion of limitations and future research directions.
