AbstractWe calculated radiation from electrons propagating in a uniform parallel magnetic field to verify our technique. We also used our new technique to calculate emission from electrons in small simulation systems with three different Lorentz factors and ambient parallel magnetic fields. We obtained spectra which are consistent with those generated by electrons propagating in turbulent magnetic fields, that are generated at an early nonlinear stage of the Weibel instability. © 2010 American Institute of Physics.
