AbstractWe report on the cavity enhancement of a 78MHz, 200fs ytterbium-fiber laser system. Constant enhancement up to a record intra-cavity average power of 18kW has been observed. Beyond the linear regime, 40kW have been achieved. © 2010 Optical Society of America.
