AbstractWe present 3D OPCPA simulations for a PW system with 3.67 J, 4 fs transform limited pulses. We show that including nonlinear refractive index effects, the energy is reduced by ~11% and the Fourier limit increased by ~17.5%. © 2010 Optical Society of America.
