AbstractWe produce carrier-envelope-phase-stable 10.5 fs (1.5-optical-cycle) 1.2mJ pulses at 2.1-μm carrier wavelength by a three-stage optical parametric chirped-pulse amplifier system. Furthermore, we have generated atomic high-harmonics beyond 1 keV photon energy with this unique source. © OSA 2012.
