“Group” is often used as an implementation unit for students to take part in CSCL activities, but it has not been treated as an important research unit by CSCL researchers. Going through the literature of group research in social psychology, some important insights were obtained which could broaden our understandings towards CSCL groups. Mr. Ming LAI is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Nancy Law at the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. Before starting his PhD study, he has worked as a research assistant at CITE. |
