The presentation is about 90 min. A hands-on session (around 30 min) after the presentation is organized for any participants who are interested. A few sets of LEGO Robotics samples are available for this purpose. Mr. Zhang got a Master Degree in Optical Engineering from University of Rochester, U.S. and worked with NASA JPL in California for 3 years before joining National Instruments (the company invented LabVIEW, the base for Robolab Software). After working 5 years in National Instruments, he started his own company, Semia Technologies Ltd, distributing LED products within mainland China since 2000. Semia is the co-organiser of the 4th International Robotic Olympiad which was held on Nov 2nd to 3rd in Beijing. |
