AbstractBACKGROUND: Chemoprophylaxis has been advocated for protection against tuberculosis (TB) in immunocompromised hosts. Evidence for the efficacy of chemoprophylaxis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) receiving immunosuppressive doses of corticosteroid is lacking.
