Web-based resources containing images, tables, texts and associated data of the transportation in Hong Kong.
In the last decade the population of Hong Kong has increased by almost 20%, combined with an increase of 20% in the GDP per capita. This socio-economic growth combined with the expansion of the new airport in Hong Kong and an increase in cross boundary traffic, has exerted tremendous demands on the traffic infrastructure of Hong Kong. Remarkably the transport system has coped remarkably well with this increase on demand. Civil Engineering, construction, geotechnical, building site 1. Teachers can draw examples and illustrative material for lectures and demonstration. 2. Students can use the web-site for research and project work.
