AbstractThis talk will explain the KE process in HKU and how we currently answer the following questions: * What is Knowledge Exchange and how is it different from Technology Transfer? * How to identify good KE? * How does good KE benefit the university and its reputation? * How to reward good KE at the individual, department and faculty level? * How to manage our stakeholder relationships from a KE perspective? John Bacon-Shone is currently Associate Director of the Knowledge Exchange Office in HKU as well as being Associate Dean (Research) of Social Sciences, Director of the Social Sciences Research Centre and Chairman of the Human Research Ethics Committee for Non-Clinical Faculties. He is an applied statistician by training with research interests including Compositional data, Gambling, Immigration and population policy, Privacy policy and Telephone survey methodology.
