AbstractThe appearance of creep in aluminium and indium while strain burst takes place was investigated by nanoindentation experiments. The indentation was performed using Hysitron nanoindentation transducer and a Nanoindenter XP. The creep in indium appeared both before and after strain burst with diffusional creep before strain burst and dislocation creep after.
