AbstractWe propose a device which consists of a sequence of serially connected quantum annuli, and derive the transmission via edge channels as a function of Aharonov-Bohm flux. For a one-dimensional finite crystal, the relation between the number of connected annuli and resonance peaks in the quantum oscillation is presented. More interestingly, we have also used this device to study the transport properties of a Fibonacci-lattice structure. © 1995.
