AbstractWe report a case in which compartment syndrome and tourniquet paralysis occurred simultaneously. This is a previously unreported combination which presents a diagnostic problem. We recommend that electrophysiological studies and continuous monitoring of compartment pressures should be used to minimise morbidity in high-risk cases.
