AbstractTechniques for estimating scattering amplitude radar cross section (RCS) errors were made for certain scatterers. As such, the flat strip approach was further extended for the case of the flat PEC strip to a 2D conesphere, which includes both a smooth cylindrical region and a wedge tip. Thus, the error for the conesphere was approximated by considering a circular cylinder and a wedge separately and superposing the two error estimates.
