AbstractThe influence of the philosophies in Zhou Yi on the academic development of Chinese medicine has been discussed in this paper from the viewpoint of 'Concept of Time and Space'. It concludes that the theories of Time-varied Acupuncture Therapies, Zi Wu Liu Zhu, Lin Gui Ba Fa, Fei Teng Ba Fa and San Fu Tian Jiu, San Jiu Gao Fang, etc. were all established under the influence of 'Concept of Time and Space' in Zhou Yi, so the concept of 'Changes with Current Situation' has become an important theoretical foundation for guiding Chinese medicine to understand the physiological function and pathological changes of human body as well as developing the treatment methods.
