AbstractThe article presents a brief profile and discusses the work of the Hong Kong, China-based non-profit architectural firm Rural Urban Framework (RUF). Led by University of Hong Kong professors Joshua Bolchover and John Lin, the firm is dedicated to projects that address the needs of the Chinese countryside. Several of the firm's pro-bono projects, such as the conversion of a disused school building into a community center, are discussed. (abstract by EBSCO, 2013)
