Abstract | Vesicoureteric reflux (VUR) is a common condition in children which can cause recurrent urinary tract infection (UTI) and potential renal scarring. Open ureteral reimplantation is the gold standard of operative treatment for many years. With the advance of minimally invasive surgery, endoscopic injection of bulking agents, laparoscopic and robot-assisted laparoscopic ureteral reimplantation (RALUR) were introduced. This has revolutionized whole idea of management of VUR. Here we would like to review the management of VUR and the changes since the minimally invasive era.
