AbstractThe invisibility cloak is an intensively studied topic in the fields of electromagnetism and optics. Since the first theoretical formulation of invisibility, growing attention has been paid to this rapidly growing field, both in theory and experiments. In this chapter, we review the recent progress in the invisibility cloak and transformation optics at optical frequencies.
