AbstractThe dynamic wireless charging (DWC) system can charge the electric vehicle (EV) as it travels on the road. Compared with the traditional wired charging mode, DWC can reduce range anxiety of the driver, avoid mechanical wear on the charging plug, and does not generate sparks. The analysis of the EV DWC load characteristics in existing studies is insufficient, and there is no detailed dynamic DWC load model. Based on above analysis, this paper firstly analyzes the motor power and battery power characteristics of the EV; Then, the overall EV DWC load model is established based on the coupling of motor power and battery power. Compared to traditional DWC constant power model, the dynamic DWC load model proposed in this paper can more accurately reflect the dynamic power characteristics of the EV during the DWC process.
