Professor Lee, Elaine Yuen Phin 李燕蘋
Elaine Lee is currently the Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, The University of Hong Kong. She is the coordinator for the undergraduate radiology teaching and has been actively involved in the new radiological curriculum design. She joined the university at the end of 2010, after completing her medical and radiology training in the UK. She has special interests in gynaecological oncology and thoracic imaging, especially in the application of PET/CT and novel MRI techniques. Her research concentrates in utilising functional imaging in evaluation of peritoneal metastasis, gynaecological cancers, thoracic malignancies and interstitial lung disease. Her work was presented at various international radiological conferences and she was invited speakers at numerous local and international meetings. Apart from research grants, she was awarded the S.K. Yee Medical Foundation Grant to assist financially needy cervical cancer patients in accessing free MRI scans for treatment planning and optimisation.
