Professor Ho, Man Mandy 何敏
Dr. Mandy Ho is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, the University of Hong Kong. She is a registered nurse and dietitian and completed her PhD study in the Sydney Medical School, the University of Sydney. With a double qualification in nursing and dietetics, she has involved in various community and research projects on the promotion and evaluation of child and adolescent health, prevention and management of obesity, insulin resistance, pre-diabetes and diabetes. Her main research interests are on the prevention and management of lifestyle related conditions, with a major focus on obesity, pre-diabetes and diabetes prevention and managment. She is currently working on a RCT to evaluate the effect of of a community based weight loss programme targeting Chinese overweight adults with pre-diabetes.
