I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Before joining HKU, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher cohosted by Prof. Ang Chen at University of Michigan CSE and Prof. Sylvia Ratnasamy at UC Berkeley EECS. I earned my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Michigan, where I was fortunate to work with Prof. Ang Chen. I began my PhD journey at Rice University, where I spent the first three years of my academic career. In a previous life, I got my BS degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT).
I am broadly interested in systems, networking and security, with a particular focus on applying program analysis, formal reasoning, and machine learning techniques to assist the development of cloud automation and datacenter networks.
