AbstractBy using complementary modulation of two closely-spaced optical carriers, nonlinear crosstalk on other carriers in WDM analog fiber communication systems can be greatly reduced. We have obtained up to 30 dB reduction at low modulation frequencies, where crosstalk is most severe.
