AbstractThrough focus group interview, this paper carried out a case study in a secondary school in Hong Kong on the use of Web 2.0 technologies among students, parents, and teachers. Findings suggest that there was no divide in terms of access and usage but a divide of web 2.0 technologies use among them. In conclusion, our research team speculated the roles that all these stakeholders were playing and attempted to describe them as: naughty insiders, worried outsiders, and invisible monitors. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
