AbstractIn this paper, a wideband circularly polarized (CP) antenna array employing four monopoles is proposed. The feed network has a wideband 4-way power divider and is constructed using matermaterial transmission line (MM TL). The signals from adjacent output ports of the 4-way power divider have a phase difference of 90° and are used to feed the four monopole elements. Results show that the CP antenna can achieve a very wide impedance bandwidth of 1.01∼3.58 GHz (111.98%) axial-ratio bandwidth of 1.27∼3.38 GHz (90.75%).
