AbstractThe goal of the study was to test the efficacy of a preschool biology curriculum for Latino children designed to foster a biological understanding of germ contagion and contamination. We find that embedding health content in a multi-unit germ biology curriculum enables children to reason more deeply about healthy behaviors.
