AbstractWe demonstrate high-throughput single-microorganism (phytoplankton) analysis based on ultrafast imaging flow cytometry enabled by optical time-stretch at a throughput orders-of-magnitude faster than the existing techniques employed for marine or biofuel research. © 2015 IEEE.
