AbstractWe demonstrate nonparaxial Mathieu and Weber accelerating beams, generalizing the concept of previously found accelerating beams. Such beams bend into large angles along elliptical or parabolic trajectories but still retain nondiffracting and self-healing capabilities. © 2013 The Optical Society.
