| Abstract | There are two common types of supply uncertainties. One is the yield uncertainty of supply, which is due to capacity and quality issues, and the other is the disruption of supply, which is caused by low-likelihood events such as natural disasters or terrorism. We study the impacts of these two types of uncertainties using an integrated three-tiered supply chain design model, for which we also propose an effective solution algorithm. |
