Abstract | This paper proposes a bridgeless single-inductor multiple-output (SIMO) AC-AC power converter, which employs only a single inductor in the power stage to produce multiple independent AC output voltages. Each individual AC output, which can be fully independently controlled, is connected to a transmitting coil to form a multi-coil wireless power transfer system (MC-WPT). The proposed AC-AC topology carries the advantages of a small component count, low build-of-material cost, simple control scheme, enhanced scalability, and high power efficiency. Both simulation and experimental results confirm that the proposed circuit meets the performance requirements. |
