Authors
Issue Date25-May-2023
Abstract

In a 3 (video: happy, neutral, sad) × 3 (confederate's emotional expression: happy, neutral, sad) experiment with a counterbalanced stimulus exposure design, we found that participantsʼ emotions were influenced by the confederateʼs emotional expressions, and that participants projected their emotions on the confederate when her emotional expression was ambiguous.
